Christmas Trees

I’m a big fan of Christmas, much to the dismay of most of my family. I love everything about the season: the music (where most of my families chagrin stems from), the anxiousness, the family gatherings and decorating!

As it is my first year working here at the MCC Clothing store, I have yet to experience a Christmas season in retail. I was pleasantly surprised to see my coworkers begin to roll out the Christmas trees starting even before Halloween!

Turns out our store has a stockpile of Christmas trees that get donated to us starting on December 26th, and continues all year long. This stockpile takes up an ENTIRE staircase. You can occasionally hear Julia (dubbed, “Christmas Tree Girl”) announce that she’s made it to the middle of the bottom staircase, or to the center landing.
To further my enjoyment, the Christmas trees began selling immediately, and have continued to sell well! We get some great Christmas trees: some plain, some with lights, some tall, some short, some with ancient tinsel still attached.
If you’re looking for a Christmas tree this year, make sure you stop by and see us! Our trees are priced from 20 – 75 dollars, much less than what you would spend at most other stores! We replace trees on the floor as we sell them, so we have new Christmas trees up every week!
